Nest wireless Smoke/CO combo and Thermostat

 

The Nest family of products allow you to monitor their products without a monthly monitoring fee. When used together, the Nest thermostat will shut down the ventilation system in the event of a fire that is detected by the Nest combo smoke/CO detector.  If the ventilation system were running in the event of a fire, it could feed the fire and help it spread faster.
